Cara Sandlass is an implementation leader with more than 15 years of experience helping mission-driven organizations successfully adopt technology that improves outcomes for the people they serve. As Senior Director of Implementation at STEAMe, she partners with workforce organizations, partners, and community leaders to launch connected workforce infrastructure and systems that strengthen collaboration and create measurable impact.

Throughout her career, Cara has specialized in guiding organizations through complex technology implementations, helping translate ambitious goals into practical workflows, strong partnerships, and long-term success. She believes successful implementation is about more than deploying software—it's about aligning people, processes, and purpose.

Before joining STEAMe, Cara held implementation and customer success leadership roles supporting nonprofit and social impact organizations, including serving in implementation leadership at Idealist Consulting and previously at NowPow, where she worked alongside STEAMe's founders to help organizations connect people to critical services through coordinated technology. Those experiences reinforced her belief that thoughtfully designed technology can strengthen collaboration across organizations and improve outcomes for entire communities.

Across workforce development, healthcare, and the nonprofit sector, Cara is passionate about helping organizations turn strategy into action. She is committed to building trusted partnerships that empower communities to create stronger pathways to opportunity and lasting economic mobility.
